The Acworth All Star program provides an opportunity for players to participate in highly competitive baseball, challenge their abilities, and excel to their highest potential. Our players learn the worth and importance of hard work, the value of team work, and that nothing worthwhile comes easy. Our goal for each team is to be successful, where every player is a credit to themselves, to their community, and Acworth Baseball All Star Director, Shane Markwalter   2011 All Stars. What a fantastic season for Acworth Baseball! Congratulations to our 8u, 9u, and 12u Teams for winning Dizzy Dean District 3 Championships, and our State Champions -- 6 Orange State B, 8 Orange State A, 12 Blue State B, and finally 12 Orange State A Runner-Up! All of our teams did great things and represented us well this summer! We are all so proud of Acworth!   2011 Acworth District Champs! 12U Orange The boys went 5-0, clinching the 2011 12U Dizzy Dean District 3 Championship with a 16-4 win against Hobgood Heat. We Bleed Orange, Go Warriors! 9U Orange Acworth rallies down 10-2, scores 3 runs in the bottom half of the last inning to win the title over a tough East Cherokee. A 16-15 finish to claim the championship with a perfect 4-0 record. Way to represent Acworth 9U, outstanding! 8U Orange The kids go 5-0 to become District 3 Champions against the deepest District in Georgia. The boys allowed only 13 runs in the first 4 games with a decisive 20-10 victory in the final. Hats way off to the Canton Stingers, what a team, truly an amazing semi and final. Go Warriors! 12U State B State Champs! 12U B go 5-1 and played w/ 9 players to become Champions!!! 8U Orange State A Champs! The Kids go 8-1 and claim the Georgia State A Championship. 6U Orange State Champs! 6U Orange are State B Champions! Congratulations!!! GO WARRIORS!
