Our goal is to instill in the children of this community the ideas of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and a sense of teamwork so that they may become strong, healthy, well adjusted members of the community. |

| 2012 New Dizzy Dean Bat Rule. Dizzy Dean has made changes to the bat rules that are allowed for the 2012 season. These changes are significant and may require most to purchase new bats. | Proposed amendment to be voted on (3/14) Board Meeting: A parent can place a coach's restriction on a locked assistant coach. Parent cannot place a coach's restriction on a drafted assistant coach - Bob Henry, Jr.. |
| By-Law Change passed (1/18). Change to current draft/player evaluation for Head/Assistant coach's children. The locked child of the head & assistant coach will be placed as a lock in the round in which they would be ranked by the preseason skills assessment. If they both fall into the same round, the assistant coach’s locked child will be placed as a lock the following round. In the event of a skills assessment rainout, the players will be locked in the rounds in the same format as the other children - Ray Holbrook |
